Hello! Today I am going to talk about the major that I would like to take. First it is necessary to remind you that I am in my second year of psychology at the University of Chile, and in this university they offer a several types of specializations in areas such as: Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, Social Psychology – Community, Educational psychology, juridical psychology, Labor and Organizational Psychology, and Neuroscience and Behavior.

Of these options I am interested in social-community and educational but I'm still not sure which one interests me the most. On the one hand I am interested in the area of social-community psychology because I have a subject called social psychology and I really like the things we have learned and the way they look at the reality. On the other hand, I am very interested in the educational area because I'm interested in being able to know more about learning and the way of relating to institutions like the school and from that, to generate a better space to learn. I would like to continue this specialization at the University of Chile and take several elective courses in these areas.

I'm still not sure which area I would like choose to specialize, but I'm interested in being able to know more of all the areas to be prepared and so be able to do any activity or work that interests me. But in this career, I consider it is important to specialize in something especially because there are many psychologists in Chile.
