Hi! Today it’s the last blog for this semester and I am going to tell you about my experience during all the semester doing this blog and about the class in general. Respect the experience learning English in the university I think it´s very good because if I compare this class with the English class in my school, in the university the classes are oriented to be able to speak, write and understand English more than just learn grammar. Doing the blog it´s not always easy for me, but the blogs forced me to practice (and in this case I think it´s necessary hahaha). I consider the modality of the course it´s very good, because we can practice all the skills in the same day and with an original shape like the blogs. On the other hand, respect to the areas that I need to improve; I believe that I need practice all the areas, but specially speak in English and learn more vocabulary for the written part. changes to my study programme

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about some changes that I could make to my study program. First, respect to the curriculum one of the changes that I would like to do it´s related to the practice time outside the university, in our curriculum we only have two semesters of practice and I consider that in our career we need more, but I understand that the practice before the fourth year not could be the “real practice” because we don’t have all the necessary knowledge. Related to the workload and length of studies, I agree with the length of the studies, because I think it´s the necessary time to learn the things that we need to be a good professional (knowing that always we could learn more). On the other hand I consider the workload it´s not too hard, I think the worst moment of the semester it´s not because the workload is hard but it´s because we don´t organize well. Hi today I am going to give my opinion about four questions: What is your opinion about owning an exotic pet? Respect to the first question, I imagine if I had the possibility I like to have some exotic pets   especially feline pet such a: panther, tiger, lion ,etc. But, on the one hand they need many things like a lot of space, a lot of food and to be careful enough because they can be dangerous. On the other hand I suppose the best thing for them it is to be in their habitat. Sometimes it´s better to leave the selfishness aside and think what is the best for them because we don’t are his owner.   What is your opinion about violence on television? Hello! Today I am going to talk about the major that I would like to take. First it is necessary to remind you that I am in my second year of psychology at the University of Chile, and in this university they offer a several types of specializations in areas such as: Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, Social Psychology – Community, Educational psychology, juridical psychology, Labor and Organizational Psychology, and Neuroscience and Behavior. Of these options I am interested in social-community and educational but I'm still not sure which one interests me the most. Hi, today I am going to talk about possible postgraduate courses. I really haven´t thought much about doing a course after finishing my career, but I have some ideas. On the one hand I have thought about taking courses that are related to the type of work I would like to do, something that allows me to specialize in some area, but I'm still not sure which area of psychology I want to pursue. Until now the one that interests me the most is the educational area. On the other hand I´m very interested in doing courses not necessarily related to psychology, Alternative courses such as reiki, reading of chakras, etc. I´m interested in these courses because I think they complement me as a professional and as a person.   I think that doing several courses after graduating has many advantages, because it's always good to keep studying, also the work field of psychology is not always easy so it is good to be able to complement the contents that we teach in the university. Hello! Today I’m going to talk about pets; the truth is that I have never had a pet but if I had to choose I would like to have a cat and a dog. I would like to have a cat because I think they are fantastic animals, they are beautiful, affectionate, playful and more independent than other pets. On the other hand I would like to have a dog because I think they are very faithful friends, they always accompany you, they are always happy to see you and I think they love you with all their heart. I think having a dog and a cat is a good combination (if they get along well ha ha) it´s very common to see cats and dogs having fights, but I think if you adopt them together they can be very good friends (I have seen some cases ) If in the future I have a pet I would like adopted her, because I believe it´s something that saves the lives of many animals. Hi! Today I’m going to talk about my favorite food. Choosing which it´s my favorite food it´s not an easy decision but if a need to choose one I think it´s pizza. I think pizza it´s a very versatile food, because you can put many different ingredients and it can have various forms and sizes. Other reason why I like pizza is because it´s easy to cook and, I don’t like cooking, so I can eat without much effort. Other things that I like to eat are: Chinese food such as chicken and meat Chapsui or arollados primavera, empanadas (especially cheese). On the other hand I really like the sweet food like: ice cream, cake, “sopaipillas pasadas”, fruit (especially the apple, orange and grapes), tiramisu, and all the variety of chocolates (especially the dark chocolate), etc. When I started the university I usually ate things that were sold there, but now I prefer eat home-cooked food because it´s healthier and I can save money.
